All companies with at least 50 employees must calculate and publish their Gender Equality Index each year by March 1st.
The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Integration has put a simulator-calculator online as well as a free support system to help them in their approach.
The Index, out of 100 points, is made up of 4 to 5 indicators depending on whether the company has less or more than 250 employees:
- The gender pay gap,
- The difference in the distribution of individual increases,
- The difference in the distribution of promotions (only in companies with more than 250 employees),
- The number of employees increased on their return from maternity leave,
- Parity among the 10 highest salaries.
